Church strives to avert election conflicts in Congo

Through funding from the United Methodist Committee on Relief, the church in Congo focused on preventing violence and hate speech before, during and after elections.

Episcopal leaders of the Congo Central Conference recently received sport utility vehicles, thanks to financial support from the United Methodist Board of Global Ministries.

Disaster Relief

Church increases aid to displaced people in Congo

Over $400,000 from UMCOR and United Methodist Global Ministries helped provide emergency relief to approximately 25,000 displaced people in Congo.
