Church Thanksgiving Feast feeds hundreds

For over a decade, Klein United Methodist Church in Spring, Texas, has turned Thanksgiving into a celebration of generosity, community and connection. This year, the congregation expects to serve more than 1,000 people at its annual Thanksgiving Feast.

Following the path of Paul

A clergy cohort from the Texas Conference joined colleagues from other conferences in an 11-day journey across Greece and Turkey, visiting spots where the apostle Paul went.

“New Faith Community” is the placeholder name for a group of United Methodists who have begun worshipping together in this northeast Texas town. It’s another Texas Conference example of faithful United Methodists banding together amid a wave of nearby church disaffiliations.
