Filipino pastors serve in the Middle East

Seven new pastors were recently commissioned at a consecration cermony in Doha, Qatar. These men and women answered a call to serve the spiritual needs of the Filipinos living and working overseas in the Middle East. Three pastors were appointed in Qatar, one in Kuwait, and three in the United Arab Emirates. Kyla Ragasa reports from Doha.

Mission agency, churches work to fill gaps

The United Methodist Church’s mission agency is stepping up with grants to help fill food pantry shelves. Churches also are striving to support those going without pay during the shutdown.
