Dozens of women from across Africa for many years to come will have safe and secure campus accommodations provided by the East Ohio Conference through the Teach-Reach-Bless campaign.

Burundi student to be counselor

Desire Niyonkuru has traveled more than 7,500 miles to study pastoral counseling at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary in Evanston, Ill. Niyonkuru’s parents were killed in class violence in Burundi, Africa. His tuition and living expenses are covered by scholarships, grants and the seminary’s work-study program.
