Churches join forces to provide Easter baskets

Thanks to the connectional efforts of six United Methodist churches, 167 children received Easter baskets stuffed with books, toys, stuffed animals, candy, plastic eggs, money and more.

Church helps thousands of malnourished children in Congo

The United Methodist Church strives to combat acute and severe malnutrition by providing nutritional supplements, medical care and advice to parents on infant feeding and care.

Bike ministry on a roll

Sarah Jane Johnson Memorial United Methodist Church’s bike ministry began 16 years ago as a summer outreach to help youth learn to repair their bikes. But those events showed church leaders how many children didn’t have bikes and how many adults would benefit from them as well.
