Connectional Table lives into new vision at Philippines gathering

The October meeting provided a time for fellowship as a worldwide community and space to celebrate and discern the denomination’s new vision.

Connectional Table plans for work ahead

Members of the Connectional Table — most of whom are new to the United Methodist leadership body — met for an orientation that focused on regionalization, rejecting colonial attitudes and plans for “a new future.”

April 24 wrap-up: Legislative committee work begins

The second day of General Conference shifted from the celebratory opening worship to doing the business of the church, as delegates began working in their legislative committees and electing their chairs.

Leadership body reconsiders restructuring plan

The United Methodist Church’s Connectional Table, which has stewardship of the denomination’s mission, ministry and resources, is now re-examining its proposed restructuring.
